Safeguarding
At Hurst Lodge we are committed to safeguarding our children and young people, and we expect everyone who works in our school to share this commitment. The safety and welfare of our children and young people is our highest priority, and as such, the adults in our school take all welfare concerns seriously and encourage children and young people to talk to us about anything that worries them. We will always act in the best interest of the child and are proud to uphold and embrace a culture that recognises ‘It can happen here!’.

The school promotes a culture of safety, equality, protection, and vigilance. Our safeguarding practise is under constant review and operates with transparency across the school. Safeguarding policies and procedures are written and reviewed in line with statutory guidance and legal frameworks to ensure our safeguarding duties are fulfilled. The school’s safeguarding and child protection policy can be found on the school website.
Should you have any questions or concerns around welfare, safeguarding, or child protection please contact the Designated Safeguarding Lead for Hurst Lodge School.
